Very similarly to Call of Duty 2 (Game of the Year Edition), this gold edition was released four months after the original game. It includes the following:

• Call of Duty 3


• Free downloadable content. The 800 Microsoft points Valor map pack including 5 multiplayer levels is downloadable after converting a keycode on Activision's site into an Xbox Live Marketplace voucher code.


• Bonus DVD containing "Making of Call of Duty 3" with the Treyarch developers & "Inside the Normandy Breakout" interviews with Allied veterans of the campaign.
