Description

Coffeetime Crosswords offers 180 crossword puzzles divided over four difficulty levels to solve. Moving over a square of the puzzle, the vertical and horizontal hint is automatically highlighted. The chatpad is not supported to insert letters. Instead, each square needs to be selected individually and then an opaque wheel turns up, where half the letters of the alphabet are shown. The wheel can be flipped over by holding both bumpers to view the other tier. Shifting between the letters is done by holding a single bumper, left or right.

Once a word has been put in, it remains when the answer is correct. When it's wrong but a few single letters happen to be right, those letters stay in and are shown in blue until the word is found. Next to the normal Challenge mode there is a Time Attack mode where time is of the essence. Multiplayer is supported for two players online to work on puzzles cooperatively.
