Trivia
1001 Video Games
Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves appears in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die by General Editor Tony Mott.Karate
In a rather subtle crossover, the character Butt is listed as a mere karate master, but if you've played Art of Fighting, you'll recognize his style as Kyokugen-ryu karate, the same style the Sakazaki family (Ryo, Yuri, and Takuma from AOF) practices. So has Butt been studying with Takuma? Perhaps...Version differences
Khushunood Butt and The Griffon Mask suffered name changes between the US and Japanese versions: Butt was originally named Marco Rodriguez, and The Griffon Mask was named Tizoc. The word "Tizoc" means "sick leg", or "lame leg". It was the name of an ancient Mexica tlatoani, or leader, who ruled from 1481 until 1486, when he was poisoned by Aztec aristocrats. Tizoc is also the name of a very famous Mexican movie starring Pedro Infante and Maria Felix.Information also contributed by Foxhack
