Description

Pulse: Fight the Night is a twin stick shooter with a twist: the player fights hordes of enemies and the all encompassing darkness of the world.

The arenas of Pulse are shrouded in darkness. The only light the player has is the ever-shrinking light that surrounds the ship. By shooting enemies, the player may increase the light the ship gives off, allowing the player to see to fight on. The game features several types of enemies, from simple foes who wander aimlessly, to enemy ships that fire back, to dangerous bombs that explode into even more foes.

Twin stick shooter gameplay is present, featuring reversible controls for lefties, bombs, high scores, and six arenas. Arenas range from simple open spaces to claustrophobic corridors where one wrong move can end in death. The game features bright and colorful graphics along with a rock soundtrack.
