This collector's edition was only released in North America and contains:

• Resistance 2
• Hardcover art book
• Alternate cover art (as voted by the community)
• In-game weapon skin for the Chimeran HVAP Wraith
• Action figure of the Chimera alien race
• Bonus Blu-Ray disc with a behind-the-scenes featurette, a video detailing the game's alternate historical timeline, a digital copy of issue #0 of the Resistance comic book, and a preview from the (then) upcoming Resistance novel The Gathering Storm.

Trivia

In August 2008 Sony launched a community vote to vote on the cover image for the game in the collector's edition, offering a choice between three designs. Eventually, all covers were also released as electronic downloads in February 2009, offering players to print their favourite design.
