Description

Lightning Rod is an Air Element character figure for the game Skylanders Giants. A famous storm giant for the Cloud Kingdom, he wanted more than fame, and thus set out to meet Master Eon with Spyro to become a Skylander. Once placed on the Portal of Power, Lightning Rod will become the player character, summoning and shooting lightning bolts at his foes. This Series 2 version of Lightning Rod has a new look, improved stats and a new Wow Pow ability that can be acquired in-game, and it can reach level 15. These Series 2 bonuses are not in effect in games prior to Skylanders Giants, nor with the original Lightning Rod figure.

Series 2 Lightning Rod was also sold in a three-figure pack alongside Prism Break and Drill Sergeant. A metallic purple variant of Lightning Rod was also available.
