Description

Slingshot is the second DLC for XCOM: Enemy Unknown and requires the original game to play. It adds a set of three static, linked Council missions that involve rescuing the Triad operative Shaojie Zhang with battles set in China. The three locations are a graveyard, a subway line and a battleship. It also provides a new soldier with a background story and voice acting. New customization options include additional hair and helmet options for both genres and a new armor style. The DLC can only be accessed through a new save game, but it is encountered early on (around the first terror mission strikes) and completing it gives access to technology such as Fusion Lance and Blaster Launcher much earlier than in the regular game.
