ZhuZhu Pets: Featuring The Wild Bunch is a 2.5D side scrolling platform adventure through 36 levels. It is based on the American line of plush Zhu Zhu Pets robotic hamster toys. Players control a hamster through different levels with no enemies or obstacles that can cause the hamster to die. Instead it focuses on collecting items such as coins and gems, and solving minor puzzle elements in the environment to further exploration. Keys need to be found to open the exit of each level. There are also members of the Wild Bunch that need to be tagged as they try to evade the main character. Each level also contains three hidden stars in secret location. It is possible to drive Zhu Zhu vehicles including speedboats, convertibles, and hamster balls. Additionally pieces of equipment can be used to expand the gameplay. These include super capes, snow skis, vacuum backpacks, jet-packs and safari suits.
