Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ4, Sonikku Za Hejjihoggu 4?) is an episodic platform video game as part of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The game was developed by Dimps alongside members of Sonic Team[7] and is intended to be a return to the roots of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Episode 1 was released in October 2010 with slight variations in exact date and price amongst its four platforms, iOS, PlayStation Network, WiiWare, and Xbox Live Arcade.
