I am a PhD student in the ECE department at UW-Madison and a member of the Wings lab in the department of computer science. My research interests are primarily in the areas of embedded computing, computer architecture, and computer networking.

I am currently working on an HVAC management system that can independently control temperature of individual rooms in a home.

Update 2015-01-21 You can see a demonstration of the smart vent actuator here.

Update 2013-05-30 My group has recently begun work on an embedded WiFi device that can transmit various sensor readings over a home WiFi network. A video demo of the network configuration process can be found here.
