In 2005, Robert Baines, an acclaimed Australian goldsmith known worldwide for his fine artistry - often incorporating ancient goldworking techniques - made an extraordinary gold bracelet that was exhibited in Lisbon's Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga on the occasion of an international symposium.
