This book contains a wealth of information on DB2 for Unix. The chapter on buffer pools is very good and monitoring chapter is excellent. I've already used the information in this book to improve the performance of my systems. This book is a must have reference for anyone serious about database performance!

The book will become one of the standard independent references for DB2 on Linux, Unix and Windows. Just as there are well-known titles for DB2 for OS/390 and z/OS on many DBAs' bookshelves, in the future you'll see this book there as well.
