Overview

Programmers interested in creating Java-based application servers, client applications, and Web-based applications that make use of XML information can learn to do so with the practical techniques included in this book. Unlike several books that teach programmers about the XML 1.0 W3C Recommendation itself, Java XML Programming shows Java developers how to build real-world Java solutions with XML by examining three main layers of Java/XML solutions: the XML data layer, the XML parser layer, and the Java application layer. It includes Java code for using W3C DOM API with Java Swing, Serviet and JDBC APIs, and demonstrations of how all of these APIs can be used together to develop effective Java/XML Web applications.
