I have worked with databases for years, and this book explains it much clearer than any other book on the subject. It explains the division of data into non-redundant tables, primary keys, SQL, multi-user databases, database security, uses for databases, and distributed databases. The only thing missing is the GUI interface versions such as Access.
The story is very cute, and keeps your attention. I did not want to put down the book until I finished it. And it is going to stay in my computer area as a reference. It is a great aid in showing others how to do databases.
