This Christmas I'll never forget. It was memorable but very sad. My name is Shana Melissa McCormick. I'm 30 years old and work as a clerical aide at a large law firm in the Big Apple. I'm home on vacation spending time with my wonderful, but not so perfect, family for the Holidays. I'd like to let you in on a little secret, though. Have you ever heard the phrase, When pigs fly? It's an adynaton. A way of saying something that will never happen. Well, let me tell you, I did see a pig fly! it flew inches away from the top of my scalp causing my auburn, shoulder-length bob to swish back and forth. And to top it all off, it even ambushed me. Right smack dab on my glasses. Gooey, brown fluids, juices from it, were dripping off my glasses down my face (I'm sure causing my mascara to streak) and then dripped onto my new, white silk blouse.
