This is a great book for people who want to become beginners in Java. It is not very detailed, but it has all the basics for running some simple programs. I would say the books age range is for people around the age of 10-17. It is not a reference book, but mainly a book to give people a jumpstart to the upcoming language. Really this is the book from a novice can start and build confidence of programming. The cover is not good. But sometimes the faces of people are not attractive their heart are impressive.
