I'd have given this 3.5 (if that was an option) though in fairness it does cover what it set out to do: an Oracle Basic Guide, and as a support analyst there is a huge amount the author knows that I don't nor will ever need to know. The few diagrams and tables were good, and the parts where there was a lot of text such as Chapter 3 on how relational databases impact software development could have used more. I'm not a fan of bullet point lists, where these expanded with more description such as ...more
