This was a good book that contrasted the differences between a full stack, java-based, Web framework in Java, and the robust nature of Rails which runs atop Ruby. I recommend this book to anyone who has a lot of background in OO/Java and are wishing to get a 1 to 1 understanding of the differences. This book is written by both Java and Ruby guys, so its rather fair.
well written, as are all tech books i've read by halloway. Could go more in depth into some of the more advanced rails aspects, but it is probably out of scope for this book
