Detailed and hands-on. This was an easy introduction to Oracle. An editor would have been very helpful, however, as there were many typos and grammatical errors. Additionally, some of the labs had typos or incorrect terms.

Adequate. One of the few texts available for the test preparation for the Administration exam. Comparatively, wasn't as good as the text for the SQL exam from the same publisher, but still one of the best texts out there right now. After reading this text I scored in the mid-forty percent range on practice tests. I studied the practice tests to bring my score up to passing.
