The quality of this book is extremely variable and, at its best, not very good. The code examples are obtuse and awkward, doing very little to articulate the reasoning behind the methodologies presented. Many statements made by the book regarding non-Java EE technologies are demonstrably false, which raises questions about the book's veracity on Java EE itself. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
