With a catchy name like "Jazz, Java & Jesus", how can one not resist picking this book up? Because of that title, I decided to have a look at this book. I'm not a big one for devotionals - they seem all "fluff" and a quick thought of just getting that Bible reading in for the day with no real substance. Yes, I'm a real hard sell when it comes to this category of book.

I finished this book in a hour or so, could not put it down. What a blessings! This book came out when my "Desire at Will" did in December 2009. It was a great desire and pleasure to read this book to help us through our trials, tests, and to continue to sing praises to God and trust He'll bring us through.

I thoroughly enjoyed Jazz-Java-Jesus. The short devotionals contained just enough "meat" without choking the reader and the activities at the end were relaxing. Two thumbs up to Ms. Proctor for effectively combining three powerful concepts.
