   I bought MGS V and Mad Max last night, I figured I would try Mad Max for an hour before i would start Metal Gear. This mad max game besides being beautufl graphically is so much fun, there is so much stuff to do in the game. My one little grip is that you cannot collect scrap metal by driving over it… Expand

   This game is awesome. It has a lot in common with the Far Cry series so if you like those you will like this one too. I played it for 70This game is awesome.    This game is great, very well optimized, excellent kb/m and controller controls. Yes it has the same combat as batman arkham but I like thatThis game is great, very well optimized, excellent kb/m and controller controls.    EN/ A successful open world game in the Mad Max universe. To survive, you will steal anything you can need from your enemies, kill them, and if necessary, you will eat maggots of their corps to survive. Law and rules are invalidated in this world. Those who wants to survive, will need a strong Will, and a highly customized car. Shoot on enemy vechicles with rockets (not realy a rocket), fish the enemy driver out of his vechicle with a wired harpune, etc..., there are plenty of ways to finish them off. It will also happen a lot that you will have to fight with your fists. In fact, Max is the good guy in this world, but it feels like that he is the baddest guy around... If you like opne world games with racing elements and a lot of explosions, then Mad Max won't be a bad choice at least.
   
   DE/ Ein gelungenes Open World Spiel im Mad Max Universum. Zum überleben stiehlt Max von seinen Gegnern alles was er so gebrauchen kann, tötet sie, und ggf. isst er Maden aus deren Leichen um zu überleben. Gesetze und Regeln sind in dieser Welt außer Kraft gesetzt. Wer überleben will, braucht einen starken Willen, und ein aufgemotztes Auto. Schieß die gegnerischen Fahrzeuge mit Raketen (ist zwar nicht 100% akkurat) ab, oder angel den gegnerischen Fahrer einfach mit einer Seil-Harpune aus seinem Fahrzeug, oder oder oder, es gibt so viel Möglichkeiten die gegner außer Gefecht zu setzen. Es kommt auch sehr häufig vor dass du mit deinen Fäusten zuschlagen musst. Eigentlich ist Max ja der gute in dieser Welt, aber irgendwie ist er auch der bösartigste.... Wer Open World Spiele mit Rennelementen und vielen Explosionen mag, macht mit Mad Max zumindest nichts falsch.
   
   JP/ マッドマックスの世界観を舞台にした中々に出来の良いオープンワールドゲーム。生き残るために主人公のマックスは敵さんから使えるものは全て頂戴し、そして殺し、はたまた必要であれば敵さんの死体に湧くウジ虫を食べたりもする。法やルールといったものはもはや存在しないこの世界。この世界で生き残るには強い意志と、ハイレベルに改造された車が必要となる。敵をロケット（紛い物だがｗ）で撃ったり、敵ドライバーを縄銛で車から引きずり下ろす等々・・、敵さんを倒す方法はそれなりにあります。拳だけを頼りに敵と殴り合わないといけない場面もかなり用意されています。本来主人公のマックスがこの世界のいいやつ役なんだろうが、場合によってはこの世界で最凶最悪の男にも見えてしまう。本来オープンワールドのゲームが好きで、それに加えレースや大量の爆発といった要素が好きな方であれば、マッドマックスを購入することにより損をすることはないと思う。
   
   Pro/良い点
   +Good graphics/グラが良い。
   +Large open world/広大なオープンワールド
   +Can be obtained relatively cheap/比較的安く手に入る。
   +A lot of different ways to fight with your car/車を使った戦闘で多様な戦い方が出来る。
   
   Con/悪い点
   -Relatively repeatative missions/比較的似たミッションの繰り返しが多い。
   -No coop or multi player/コープやマルチプレイが出来ない。
   -The main story is rather short. The game lives from the side quests/本編は比較的短く、サイドミッションに生かされてる印象。

   I dont know what the hell some of the reviews for this game are talking about. This is basically Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag, Mad MaxI dont know what the hell some of the reviews for this game are talking about. This is basically Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag, Mad Max edition. If you like that game, you will love this. You can customize and upgrade your car, build and upgrade a strong hold and expand your territory. The voice acting and plot are good, and it definately takes its lore from a mix of not only the new movie, but the old movies as well. The driving and controls feel fine, took a bit of getting use to with a Keyboard and mouse. The graphics are pretty damn good and the combat is basically Batman/Assassins creed style. You can even upgrade your character and level him up. And unlike that terrible Polygon review, I dont find the world lifeless at all, it has great character.… Expand

You go around to all these secondary locations buffing up your stats to eventually to do the story-line to fight the heavy hitters. I say if you like the typical open-world game, this is the typical open-world game, but with cars and great graphics.… Expand

   The combat is simple & repetitive, yet clunky, the driving is un-responsive and you'll spend most of your efforts in game grinding, in the form of collecting tiny morsels of scrap that slowly, & boringly build up a character and car you should have started with from the beginning.
   I've read lots of sparkling reviews praising the graphics, but the visuals are very basic; it's mostly desert and badly textured metals etc, (think Borderlands without the cartoon filter).
   You'll spend a vast majority of your time climbing ladders, collecting scrap and entering/exiting your car; but the range of detection in the games code for these tasks is so terrible, you'll spend the vast majority of your time cursing the game developers, rather than playing the game.
   On top of this you have to constantly drive about with a crow-barred in character named 'chum bucket', who's superfluous to the Mad Max cannon, and was only placed there for the younger audience. I assume the developers or publishing house, feel that their target audience need some form of constant companionship and guidance in modern games, because, 'silence and thinking for oneself is a negative thing'. There are many other faults with this pc title, but I won't mention them, I've wasted enough time writing this.
   I just didn't want people giving their money to a bad title and therefore encouraging sloppy practice in the pc game industry. (...although at this point, I really feel like I'm pissing in the wind).… Expand
