Fascinating stories, great twists, good graphics, superior voice acting, decent gameplay and the desire to now become a CSI once again is what we are left with. And that is good enough.
  2. Initially the control scheme seems overly complicated; extended play reveals it’s anything but, with the game often verging on the easy side.
  3. All I can say is, every time I see a stain on my clothes or a mysterious splotch of paint on the wall, I have a strong urge to swab it.
  4. It's a good diversion for an evening but it won't have any lasting appeal.

It's very good at what it's doing, but the problem is that's very limited. [July 2006, p.83]

If you love the show and have loved the other CSI titles there’s no reason you won’t love this one. However, there’s absolutely nothing here that will woo non-fans, and so most should choose to avoid it.

Forensics is inherently intriguing, and hardcore fans of the show will most likely find the game worth a look unless graphics matter to them in any way, shape, or form. [Oct. 2006, p.74]

This alone makes this a cut above previous CSI games (which were very good themselves). However, there is more to this latest chapter that improves it over the rest of the series. The graphics update looks great, and there are plenty of new forensic tools at your disposal. The cases themselves are longer and require more participation from you. And that trademark FEEL that made the other games so great are present here. Go get it, it's worth it! Expand

Though it may be powered by DirectX 8.1, this game does not disappoint. Everything is rendered in 3D, and has good reflection effects. The Though it may be powered by DirectX 8.1, this game does not disappoint. Everything is rendered in 3D, and has good reflection effects. The face animations are what take a point off. There are not many facial "muscles" so very little of the face reacts to the lip-synch, which is far-off. Overall, this is sure to give any fan of the show a taste of what it would be like to work the graveyard shift in the Las Vegas Crime Lab. Expand

I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for something a little different. Expand

I have loved every tv show and spin off and the games are a terrific addition to the overall series. As a real life police officer with friends on a local CSI team, I can tell you that this game is not that far fetched! The crimes may seem outlandish to the untrained eye, but believe me, this is the real deal! Not or the faint of heart but certainly for the adventurous thinker. Expand

All the actors are in this too and their voices. It totally looks like it too. I'm a part of the show now.
