Sep 15, 2016It changes up the formula enough to keep things feeling fresh, its look and feel is fantastic, and the overall package will keep fans playing for hours on end. It really is a sequel worth the Pac-Man name, and I for one absolutely love it.
-
Sep 13, 2016Pac-Man Championship 2 is an outstanding example of a franchise reinventing itself.
-
Oct 4, 2016PAC-MAN Championship Eidtion 2 certainly takes a number of liberties with the traditional PAC-MAN gameplay, but it stills manages to feel like a PAC-MAN game at its core.
-
Sep 12, 2016Despite a highly-questionable decision to neuter the lethality of the series’ central enemies, the core gameplay coupled alongside the electronic presentation proves to be one of the most addictive combos on the market, with the three-star perfection of Adventure mode and the constant climb up the leaderboards in Score Attack providing key motivations to continue returning to the title for another near-decade.
-
Sep 19, 2016Pac Man Championship Edition 2 is a solid title; rich, funny and well developed. Still, it can not match the incredible Championship Edition DX.
-
Sep 12, 2016It might be a case of sky-high expectations, but this sequel doesn't live up to its sublime predecessor Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+. Still, I'm not so sure it ever could -- that game was damn near perfect, putting Bandai Namco in a tough spot when creating a follow-up. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is worth playing for its frenetic new style and ruleset, but it's no replacement.
-
Sep 12, 2016Championship Edition 2's drastic changes to the classic Pac-Man feels like a misstep. You can touch the ghosts without dying and the speed and danger of the original are missing because of this.
