One of my personal favorite games of all time. While I don't have that many hours on the game on steam, I can't tell you how many hours I spent on the dreamcast with this game when it was simply known as Jet Grind Radio. The only flaws I can find with this game are that the controls are a bit slippery and the "allign camera" trigger is set to the grafitti trigger and there's no way to turn it off as far as I know. What I mean by this is that when you are trying to grafitti an area (I use Left Trigger) but you're not close enough, the camera will switch to behind your character. This gets in the way of a lot of the boss fights and is a major annoyance that I really don't understand from a game design perspective. Other than that the game is a masterpiece and way ahead of its time. Great Characters, A Godlike Soundtrack (one of the best in video game history), Amazing Levels, Quotable Lines, and Visuals you could see from a Gorillaz music video, only 3-D and cell-shaded beautifully.

SEGA GIVE US JET SET RADIO FUTURE HD

pros: good music, visuals that aged very well, very good voice acting, fast and fun gameplay.

cons: controls like ♥♥♥, getting stunned if you look at an enemy or wall wrong is super annoying, enemies are always on your ♥♥♥ so doing one of the game's core mechanics is annoying (spray painting).

i would recommend this game, but with the warning that you will be frustraited a fair amount of times.

Music is great, controls take a bit of time to get used to but after a while it becomes almost second nature.

10/10 would be a victim of police brutality again

Enjoyable if you have a good controller, and as long as you don't have a short temper like me.
For the most part, the game is fun enough, but often the cluttered stages, bad camera, awkward controls, and tedious or unfair missions will definitely ♥♥♥♥ you off after the first few attempts.
Honestly, I'd recommend the game if you want it for nostalgia, or happen to just really enjoy games like it, but not if you are easily frustrated. I personally enjoyed most of the game, and a lot of the gameplay can be really fun at times... Except for literally everything in Benten-Cho.

Been a huge fan of JSR since i was a kid, i still have it on dreamcast and JSRF for xbox, this port isnt too bad, my only complaints would be its pretty much impossible to play without a controller and it can sometimes be a bit clunky, mainly trying to jump onto rails that are on a sidewalk, im not sure why but sometimes you clip into the curb and hurt yourself

Janky controls
Sketchy grind system
Touching AI makes you fly 100 feet in the other direction
Same 3 missions
Annoying replay camera that plays while in the middle of a grind and ruins the flow of the game
Races designed so poorly it makes me want to chug bleach

Having played & loved Jet Set Radio Future, I was keen to try this out, but honestly, it's utter garbage compared to Future.
It moves at a snail's pace, and the controls are so awkward & frustrating it takes away from any element of fun this tries to go for.
If you can, try to get your hands on Future, or help the fanbase convince Sega to port Future to Steam. Save yourself a headache.
