Really did not believe I would cry over a bunch of pigeons when I went into this, but the game turned out way darker than I anticipated. The hearts on the title screen are probably those harvested from people who finished the final ending...

This is such a beautiful game. It's a heartwarming (and heart-wrenching!) experience cleverly hidden under the guise of a pigeon dating simulator. I highly recommend playing this game blind, unlike me. Hell, I knew what was coming and I still almost cried. This isn't a joke. This is such a good game. If you like expansive backstory and colorful characters blended together into a brilliant world of happiness and sorrows, this masterpiece is for you.

I have been so excitedly telling everyone about this game I actually forgot to properly review it.

It's a bit late now, but for the principle of it:

This is a perfect parody of dating sims - which laughs WITH fans of the genre instead of laughing AT them - used as a long-form introductory wrapping to a marvelous, intensely emotional visual novel about dreams, friendship and hope.

… with pigeons.

Although I had heard of the game since its release in English, i couldn't play it and stayd away from spoilers and forums, and I am SO glad I did! The impact of wandering the various storylines is so much more intense when you have no idea what's about to happen… The game manages to surprise & shock you almost every. single. time, despite your probable initial expectations that "a dating sim with pigeons? NOTHING will shock me any more…" JUST. YOU. WAIT.

I have the deepest respect and admiration for the author, who managed to take a lighthearted April's fools joke demo and turn it into such a well-thought, deep and engaging real story… without sacrificing any of the initial fun & WTFness. This is a masterpiece of storytelling.

And yet, when all is over and you're still reeling from the emotional rollercoaster that is the second half of the game (for best effect, play the "fulfilling a promise" path LAST, and in one single sitting!), the only way you feel you can describe the game to outsiders still seems to be : "it's a dating sim… but with pigeons. And then it gets INTENSE, and you will cry."

10/10, would cry again.

PS: Okosan is the most precious cinnamon r- err, pudding of all birdies, and deserves all the hugs.

Came for the pigeons, stayed for the plot.
10/10 would play again and recommend to friends to ruin their life with.
Even though there aare about 11 achievements I felt like I had to get all of those achievements to fully enjoy the game. I completed the whole game within 11 hours but that's because I forgot which routes I was completing.
This game has it all; romance, rpg simulator, death, and of course pigeons.
So please play Pigeon dating simulator and ruin your life with pigeons.

As much as it sounds like a joke to be "dating" Pidgeons, this game actually becomes intriguing and interesting once on the BBL route. It adds some humour that all the characters are birds, but I enjoyed it very much once getting used to it. Also, the game's creator Moa is amazing.

So you’ll probably think this game is some sort of joke game. It probably is, so why not play it, you might get some good laughs out of it.
But play it and you might get a serious case of the feels.
Luckily there’s also Okosan and pudding to save the world.

Very. The answer is very.

This looked cute and funny, so I really wanted to try it out. I cried from the first ending I got.

Surely one of the better Pigeon-Dating-Simulation games.
To be honest, I got tricked into playing it for a few minutes before realising there are no female pigeons, but that only made it a little bit weirder.
