We announce the new build 919!

In this update we have found and fixed critical error that was leading to frequent crashes after leaving track racing events. Full list of updates:

- Fixed incorrect saving settings in hidden options menu
- Fixed crash with !Instance::getArrayElement: index (10) out of bounds (10) for variable length at file "java.util.Vector" at line 299
- Fixed incorrect saving of career events progress
- Fixed incorrect negative weight distribution bug

Important update

We have finally announced an important upgrade to build 917.

- Improved code of game initialization and options menu
- Fixed random behavior of hidden settings menu
- Fixed random switching to 640x480 resolution in fullscreen mode after accessing options menu
- Improved blower hood mesh for Hauler's Badge (thanks to ramrom for that)
- Fixed incorrect names of some tuner parts for Stallion (thanks to ramrom)

== WARNING! YOUR OLD SAVEGAME WILL BE LOST AFTER THIS UPDATE. IF YOU TRY TO LOAD IT, GAME WILL CRASH. ==

In order to fix the issues with saving game settings, we had to modify the structure of savegame files. For safe transition to build 917 follow the instructions below:

1. Delete all old careers and start new one;
2. If the game won't start or if it shows "Create hw 3d device FAILED", uninstall it from Steam (right-click on the game, select "Delete local content", then go to game folder and delete ALL files from there, install the game again)
3. If neither of steps above help, contact support@image-code.com for help.

If you want to enable cheats, to the following:

1. Go to your game folder (usually located at Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Street Legal Racing Redline v2.3.1)
2. Open file Player.java in sl\scripts\game\src\
3. Look for these lines of code:

int c_enabled = 0; //defines if player has access to cheats menu
int c_garage = 0; //garage codes: money, car selector, roc teleporter, etc.
int c_track = 0; //track cheats: slowmotion, osd on/off, freeze, etc.

Save this file, run the game again, START NEW CAREER and save it.

SO! Let's get right to the point. Yes, the game's old, and out dated, and fake cars, yada yada yada.

Sure it crashes, sure it's got bugs.

But all in all? I recommend it. You can't play Forza or Granturismo, and buy a chassis, chose your suspension parts, engine heads, pistons, turbos and super chargers, and build a car that you want.

Oh, and wreck it five seconds after you're done building it. Protip: Alt+F4 is your friend!

I've never played a racing game that lets you do what SLRR does, and I've been playing Racing games since Ridge Racer in 1993.

Highly recommended for car fans!

My time went like this:

- Start game thinking, "wtf do I do?"
-Visit used car lot, bought used car for 19000
-Try to test drive car...FAIL..car is missing a back left tyre
-No money left to buy tyre that's needed...****
-Restart....New career.

-Bought cheaper car instead and checked tyres this time
-Strip apart the engine and replace a few parts
-Car pushing out MAX POWAA of around 300 HP
- Went to test drive on street...Drove like a madman and hit a tree after 100 meters
- engine flew 200 meters...
-No money for new engine..*#&*$)$&&...Bangs head on keyboard

-Went online...got cheats (thanks google)
-begformoney and got some..
-bought a muscle car chassis and built a quad turbo v12 racing engine (took half an hour to build engine only)
-power level OVER 9000!!!....2400 HP to be almost exact
- Took the car out for some midnight street racing
- Beats puny opponent with their mediocre 4 gas drums
- race ends with me doing 300+ Kmh....*&*()
-Full brakes ahead!...into a ditch and hit a tree
- RIP V12 :(...engine flew a mile away

10/10 this game gives no F***s.

You got to have true grit to play this game. You spend hours of your time and in-game currency to race and win or to race and lose it all. I LOVE IT.

I totally recommend this game to anyone who loves customization in car games. Main problems include dumbass AI that always steer into you(atleast in my case), random crashes, sketchy driving physics, and rather steep learning curve if you don't know about cars. BUT, You start out with nothing and $20,000 to spend. Most cars you'll find will be rather crap, but if you drive right and spend right you'll end up with a beast of a machine. The paint booth deserves the most mention, though the decals are rather low res the paint aspect is really detailed. Overall I recommend this game if you really love modding cars. Especially for 8 bucks.

its a great game. with the rair crash its great. glitch: if the game crashes or you forcefully exit then if you have a turbo on your car it will be bumped up half a bar. i used it to get a car to 19 bars of boost. #superoverpowered

Very good game. Even for it's age it's very fun to play.
Only thing that needs to be fixed is loading when going into the city.
Other than that, an amazing game.

Its a good game if you manage to actually play it.
This game crashes so often its worse then a really really old PC trying to run a fearly new game.
Its not laggy, just buggy.

OMG this is the best car racing game ever you can custmise so much in the game and you can do so much in the game this is so crazy the only bad thing is the game crashes like crazy but it didnt start doing that untill i got mods in the game so dont get mods in the game and you should be good for the best car racing game in the world!

I don't know what crashes more.
