What the developers have to say:

Play for free, keep your stuff! No resets at the end of Beta!

All purchases and unlocks are permanent. We call it Beta because we're still adding some pretty big features, but so far we have:

- Training and Solo play - for learning how to play, or casual fun
- Coop and PvP Matchmaking - quickly get matched against others
- Custom games and rules - when you want total control
- Player driven economy - didn't need that drop? Sell it to other players!
- Quests with ingame rewards - like Achievements, but better
- Leveling, progression, unlocks - level yourself, your AirMechs, expand your army
- NOT "pay2win" at all - check our reviews or ask players ingame
- Global chat, Factions, parties - integrated directly into the core UI
- Crafting system - added due to player demands
- VIP/Premium for LIFE with any purchase - because we're cool like that

I'm honestly becoming less and less interested in the Tank-spamming echo chamber that has become the mainline balance for PvP. Anything that isn't a tank will be nerfed to uselessness, and only one loadout is made viable.

No wonder PvP is barren nowadays.

I've lost far too much patience and faith to put forth more than that.
SIngle-player stuff may be interesting, but it just isn't fufilling. Fighting brain-dead bots with artificial difficulty modifiers just isn't fun.

Honestly, if there hadn't been a Global chat in this game, i would have been LONG gone.

This game is F2P try it please

also...Don't go directly into PvP when you start the game, I think that's the #1 reason why new players quit >_>

Airmech, giant robots blowing the ♥♥♥♥ out of each other while commanding other smaller drones to attack the opposing team's fortress. What's there to say. That's not without it's flaws though.

Pros:
Solid Gameplay
Weekly rewards
Double XP and item drop events
Can be played alone or with teammates
Rewards VIP members
A new campaign is emerging
Newer features are being added
Vast amounts of units and customization to get your mech in the best fighting condition
Cake :3

Cons:
REGION LOCKED LOBBIES (Good luck trying to play with that guy from the United States if you are from Australia and need help with Warzone, used to be global before an update implamented Region lock)
Can get really repetitive
Using the old lobby system
Quests can be really diffuclt to complete due to afformentioned region lock.

Despite the flaws, Airmech is a solid Mecha game. For those who still need their daily dose of Macross Missile Massacre, hop into your Helix Mecha and unleash hell.

As a player who played over 1500 hours, dont.

This ♥♥♥♥ed up. HARD.

The mods use their mute function to often even if u avoid "chatfilter" once.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥T. For saying "♥♥♥♥♥er" instead of "♥♥♥♥♥"....

Ive spent 130 USD on this game and the worst spent of my life.

Im done here. They nerfed all ultimates, moved the "locked diamonds" and its getting worse by the day. Mods that are muting like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t wile ur having a great time with all the other players(looking at @MosesGunn11)

Good bye Carbon, You ♥♥♥♥ed up....

This used to be my favorite game. I've played it since 2011. I met the developers at PAX when they only had a tiny corner in someone else's booth. I was so excited when new patches came out and I bought all sorts of silly flair because I loved supporting the developers of such a great game. Over the past year or so things have taken an odd turn. Entire new ranges of unnecessary and overpriced sub-items are available that modify your mechs. Now they have de-powered the silly just-for-fun mechs as some kind of cash grab and made the parts available to play in PVP, this looks an awful lot like pay to win. This makes me sad.

There is also the continuous state of beta that makes little sense. The developers announced they were less than a month from being done with beta 2 years ago. No one has any idea what the roadmap for this game is, but as it stands the developers feel they can change core mechanics on paid-for items at will. I will not be spending any more money on this game if that is the lack of respect I can expect from Carbon.

I may not be some Youtuber but I promoted this game to my friends and clan with vigor over the past 4 years. That also stops now. I can no longer, in good conscience, recommend this game to anyone.

AirMech is a free2play game available for PC and Steam. It's an RTS (Real Time Strategy) with a fast pace and fair, competitive action. You can choose between PvP, Coop/PvE/Solo (vs AI), Survival, or CTF (Capture the Flag) game modes. AirMech was inspired by a classic Sega Genesis game called Herzog Zwei. The game is still in beta (ETA: Summer 2014) so bugs are still being fixed and features are being added.

There is no pay2win involved in AirMech. You can't buy any advantage for gameplay. Everything they sell is cosmetics and collectables. This keeps the game fair and balanced for everyone. Once you've learned the game, you have just as good of a chance at winning as every other player.

AirMech is developed by CarbonGames, an indie developer with a team of about 10. With no major publisher, they're free to do what they want with the game. They're very active with the community and join us in the chat often for questions, suggestions, and other feedback.

If you like Action-RTS, come check it out for free. If you need help, ask us in the chat. My name is InsaneFirebat and I'd be happy answer any questions you have.

For all who love transforming mechs in a fast pace action, this is the right game for you.
Unique in it's graphic style, playable with low pc stats like notebooks.
Interessting to follow game improvements, release of updates are very constantly.
Developer are close to the community, wich makes that game special, too.

*Downloads game* Friend asks if I want to play, I play, we have fun for hours. Friend asks if I will hold a skin for him, I reply with a yes. He gives me the skin. I uninstall and never return. Still constantly get messages to return the skin, but Im too lazy to install and return it.

10/10 would have fun and not return skin again. @Aldo

It’s fun for a while until it gets a little repetitive, don’t take that the wrong way it’s a fun game and you should defiantly play it and see what it’s like for yourself. They should not have called it fast paced though, AirMech is a good action strategy. I had fun playing this and I’m sure you will enjoy it too.
