The Talos Principle is a first-person puzzle game in the tradition of philosophical science fiction. Made by Croteam, the creators of Serious Sam, and written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (The Sea Will Claim Everything).

As if awakening from a deep sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by your creator with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you must decide whether to have faith, or to ask the difficult questions: Who are you? What is your purpose And what are you going to do about it?

About This Game

Sigils of Elohim is a free mini-game prelude to Croteam’s upcoming first-person puzzler The Talos Principle that challenges players to solve dozens of formidable sigil puzzles under the watchful eye of Elohim. Subjects are tasked with deciphering a series of puzzle sets by rotating and placing the sigil shapes within the board in an effort to unlock helpful items and relics within The Talos Principle.

Sigils of Elohim is a puzzle game based on the upcoming "Talos Principle" game by Croteam which engages users to think to the best of their problem solving abilities.
You're given a number of shapes to work with and an overall spectrum to insert them in, just like a puzzle. In fact, Sigils of Elohim is basically like a physical puzzle that you place items in to make fit.

Is Sigils of Elohim better than a physical puzzle? The short answer; yes.
The long answer? Sigils of Elohim is all that you could ever want a puzzle to be. It's simple, easy, and at the same time challenging beyond belief. Best of all; It's free.

Sigils of Elohim takes an approach like a typical iOS/Android title (as it's also free to play for those platforms) and works well as a PC game as it engages simple fun into a very complex situation. Making all the pieces fit the puzzle box may look easy but you're taken for a wild ride once you've tried every possible solution that you feel your brain can handle, and still can't manage to solve it. The only limitation is your mind, and your imagination.

You can also use codes in this game to get promo items for "The Talos Principle" coming soon.

Go play this for 12 extra rewards in The Talos Principle. If you're a spot-on sigil master, it'll take you about an hour to solve all 96 puzzles. If not, then it could take days. Just remember, you're only paying for this game with your brain and not your cash. Contains those nice graphics, music and sounds from the original game.

If you don't like sigil (tetromino) puzzles in the first place and don't own The Talos Principle, then this game will be rather useless for you.

A FREE puzzle mini-game where you fit shapes together to form them to a rectangular grid. It's extremely calming to play and awards you with codes to unlock things in the game "The Talos Principle."

A good companion to The Talos Principle. Don't be afraid to play it if you don't own TPP: it's enjoyable as a standalone game and will keep you busy for a few hours with its tetris-esque puzzles. However, if you do own the original game, Sigils of Elohim is also nice because it gives you codes to redeem in TTP to get short messages related to the story. A nice bonus, but nothing too big.

For what it is, I enjoyed it. It's just moving tetrominoes around to fit them in a grid. It's not a new concept.

That being said, the way the game does it is enjoyable, there's a difficulty curve (3 sets of 4 difficulty levels, each with 8 puzzles), and the unlocks in The Talos Principle are a nice bonus. It's the kind of game where you can sit down and put on music and chill, and it just lets you unwind well.
