We've finally released another major update for the 4th of July! Hooray!

Spooky's Name Change and Why This Happened

Hello Fleshlings,

Psychobilly2422 here, you might’ve noticed a few updates recently, and we here at Lag Studios owe you an explanation. What happened is around July of last year we received a cease & desist for using the name “Spooky’s House of Jump Scares” because a company called “Spooky House Studios” is trying to get the trademark for “Spooky House”. They are mobile developers based in Germany and already have the trademark in the European Union, and demanded we change our name.

When this happened we started working with the most excellent lawyer Ryan Morrison who was very sympathetic to our plight. He showed us our options and helped understand associated risks, but unfortunately, being a staff of two who released a free game, we didn’t really have the means to deal with an international legal battle. While the terms of our settlement are confidential, and I have been advised by Ryan to not share anything further, our game will now be titled Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion. We are currently propagating new builds and new branding out everywhere, and thank you for bearing with us through all of this!

Then I got goosebumps because of a puddle following me.

In amongst all the high profile games,theres this little gem.It's not really got a lot to do,but what it does do,it does extremely well.
Really,the name says it all-Theres Spooky-the cute ghost who's doing her best to off you,theres Spooky's Mansion,in which she does her best to off you,and theres Jumpscares,in which she does her best to off you for real,by giving you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heart attack!
To be honest,its probably one of the best games I've played for a long,long time-and I'll keep playing it,and if any more DLC comes out,I'll be getting that too.
Spooky,if you're reading this,I'd divorce my wife and marry you,if you weren't trying to do your best to either kill me or drive me insane.
WTH-I'd marry you anyway :)

10 out of 10-I'd give it a 20,but Spooky keeps trying to off me :)

Oh,btw,did I mention the best bit?
It's free!-except for the dlc,but it's well worth getting that as well.

Since I am easily to scare in general I must say that this game got me mostly with its jump scares.

Whilst I thought this Game is mainly all about being cute with cute jumpscares. It surely isnt, there is actually a Story with it that is quite scary.

Well this game is pretty cool no wonder its called spooky's jup scare mansion! I got really scared when a fake skelaton head jupmed out at me! lol. Its just creepy going through all those rooms though. And 1000 rooms?! I'm no where near that! But I will say this game is really good.

After the first 50 floors, you're like "oh this is really cute and peaceful", a little pop-up scare of a cute ice cream cone picture character pops up, and you jump ,then laugh at your stupidy for being scared of something so adorable. A few random creepy notes on tables. But once you start getting to 100 you start getting paranoid that something is being you, the cute music is gone and you're left with an eerie silence or something shuffling in the background.

After my first encounter with a real monster I started using my stamina to run the whole game. No more slow trolls through the hallways. Only at room 150 because I'm a little stressed by the pop scares. I'll get back into it once I calm down lol. For a free game I would obviously say yes to trying this out. I'd say a fair price (if I did have to pay) I'd get it for maybe at most $7. There is slight plot to it so far.

Spooky's haunted mansion changed to house of jumpscares. That ain't no house I tells ya. I couldn't get the bravery to get passed 150 doors. However the samurai brotha CoryxKenshin passed all 1000 like a boss! Brave man, go watch his vids. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my pants truth I tell you.

on room 800 there is a the bug when you encounter the killer in the wine cellar and the bedroom ECT. and a pop-up show (can not spawn killer1 or 2) PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!

So Good So Scary

This game is perfect for Halloween. It shows the true horror of Jump scares and spookiness mixed in together. It's perfect for horror fans and people who want to play horror games.

holy damn sh*t.

it scared the sh*t outta me almost 10 times in 15 minutes and i didnt even reach room 200!
what the hell was the motivation to make this game? scare people to death and laughting hard at them???

if this game would have cost money, i would have asked for refund at this point
so i could buy washing powder to clean my pants !!
