Come all you young sailor men, listen to me, I'l sing you a song of the fish in the sea;

And it's— Windy weather, boys, stormy weather, boys. When the wind blows, we're all together, boys; Blow ye winds westerly, blow ye winds, blow, Jolly sou'wester, boys, steady she goes.

Up jumps the eel with his slippery tail, Climbs up aloft and reefs the topsail

And it's— Windy weather, boys, stormy weather, boys. When the wind blows, we're all together, boys; Blow ye winds westerly, blow ye winds, blow, Jolly sou'wester, boys, steady she goes.

And then up jumps the shark with his nine rows of teeth, Saying, "You eat the dough boys, and I'll eat the beef!”

And it's— Windy weather, boys, stormy weather, boys. When the wind blows, we're all together, boys; Blow ye winds westerly, blow ye winds, blow, Jolly sou'wester, boys, steady she goes.

Up jumps the whale., the largest of all, "If you want any wind, well, I'll blow ye a squall!!

And it's— Windy weather, boys, stormy weather, boys. When the wind blows, we're all together, boys; Blow ye winds westerly, blow ye winds, blow, Jolly sou'wester, boys, steady she goes.

Uplay is the apple of DRM. The game is great but uplay is a pile of crap. Another reason to hate France is ubisoft.

This is by far the best Assassins Creed game. I used to play "Sid Meier's Pirates!" from 2004, Back then it was the best pirate game ever made. Black Flag is basicly the same game but with updated graphic and a new story. The best thing about this game is that most of the stories are based on true events that actually happened back then. This is like "playing a history book" :)

I recommend this game to all pirate lovers who like hours and hours of fun :)

Uplay killing this game.

One of the coolest aspect of the game "where you get to manage your own pirate fleet" is totally broken and unplayable because of Uplay.

You're a pirate who finds an Assassin's clothes and magically gets all the Assassin talents, yet still only wants money and booze. Doesn't make much sense but still a great game!

Tremendous fun and addictively easy to play - the shift to the Carribean and the emphasis on naval combat could have been a huge mistake but they absolutely pulled it off. Largely sidelining not only the modern storyline but also a great chunk of the Templar vs Assassin plot in favor of just playing as a pirate captain trying to get rich was absolutely the right idea. While these plots do come more to the fore as the main storyline goes on, Edward Kenway has charm as the protagonist that unfortunately Connor in AC3 did not, making everything far more palatable. I can absolutely recommend this if like me you got burned out on the series with the previous game, it has revitalized my interest.

Fun and bountyful. Loved the vastness of the map, tons of activities and collectibles. Haven't 100% the game, yet spent 150 glorious hours pillaging and plundering the Caribbean! Seafaring is fun. Story is good, especially the pirate parts, action is great. Free-running controls are a bit clunky, so you may fail pursuit challenges at times. My only gripe with the game is the fact the amount of assassination contracts is finite.

I've played all the Assassin's Creed installments previous to this one, and I have enjoyed this one the most (Ezio is second best). I loved the size of the world and the large number of quests and missions. I was afraid the boat fighting would be clunky like in Assassin's Creed 3, but it was actually very fun. It was satisfying taking down larger ships with speed and better tech. I also really enjoyed the setting in the caribbean, with great artistry on the landscapes and on the water. Even the animals were fun to kill or just watch. I highly recommend this game.

Awesome pirate game! The main story might take a back seat to the exploration and pirating, but nothing beats the feeling of sailing through a typhoon to fight a fleet of Man o' Wars while your crew belts out shanties at the top of their lungs. And only a couple hours in you'll be singing along every time.

10/10 Would sing like a drunken pirate again

Heeey that's pretty good.

Still waiting for a assass creed game that changes something but this was probably the best you can do with the current formula.

Doesnt run very well but a pretty good game. At this point it becomes less Assassins Creed and more milking the series. 6/10.

Best part of this game is when you stop playing the assassin's creed story and just go be a pirate. Seriously this is the best pirate game ever made. If you guys release a multiplayer dlc mode where you can sail your ship with friends i'd money at that.

Amazing game and personally my favourite assassin's creed, never got into ezio's story because the setting didn't appeal to me, good story but everything about Assassin's Creed 4 rubs me in a good way. Played several hours on consoles, with 80% completion so decided to buy on PC as well, better graphics but optimization is a bit poor, not game breakng but it can be annoying.... might want to play with shadows but i've got everything else on max. PS i can run games like battlefield 4, GTA V and Redout Max settings

Story - 9/10
Combat - !0/10
Content - 10/10
Difficulty - 2/10, this game is so not hard, unless we're talking about ship battles then 8/10, not super hard but mad pleasing leveling up your ship to take on the big guns!!!

Bonus points for: THAT ENDING SCENE THO, TEARS

I have no experience with any of the other "Assassin's Creed" games, so I can not compare those with this one. I was curious about his game since in recent history with Johnny Depp and "Pirates of the Carribean" and also the the Starz movie channel series "Black Sails" I thought I would give this game a chance.

The game has a good story. A very involved one with some good twists and turns as you go along.
The game handles well. The main character has those Parkour skills of the other Creed games and can climb while running and jumping almost anything you come across. I was not used to playing a game like this but got into it real easy.
If you are mature enough to have seen "Black Sails" you will see the same characters of the real history of pirates. These people were real and that kind of makes the game more cool. It also follows the similar plot lines about keeping Nassau free.
All the things pirates do you get to enjoy also. Gun fights, sword fights and even fist fights. You get a ship and go and plunder all the big and little ships you want. You get upgrades and find upgrades with pirate maps you find on dead pirates. Earing money through missions, plundering ships, ,wharehouses and even pick pocketing. You also can hunt sea creatures and sell skins from them. Lots of different ways to make money.

A couple of things I did not like. Not to give away to much of the story here but you play 90+ percent of the game as Edward Kenway. That is the good part. But you are a person in the here and now as Edwards decedent. You hook up to a computer and download memories. That is the bad part. You get taken out of the Edward part of the game and have to play a slow moving FPS person that gets told what to do by a guy. That is the second story and you have to do some not so fun things before you get back to playing as Edward. There is not much time involved in that but it takes the rythm out of the game.
Another part I got tired of is that you collect Animus shards which have nothing to do with pirating but with the lame part of the game. You can skip that if you want to. You also stop at every little island and grab loot. Fun at first but the constant swimming gets old as you are getting tons of stuff. Later in the game you can stand near a row boat and instantly get back to your ship. I would have liked that for the loot collecting.
The game has great story telling. It has stealth and action. It gives you many ways to accomplish your missions. You can go guns blazing or sneak your way in, what ever you choose. I liked the freedom of that. You even get to manage your own navy. How cool is that. Lots more that I have not revealed so if you want to be a pirate then get this game. Only a few short lame parts to suffer through and the rest is high seas adventure.
