About This Game

Sven Co-op is a co-operative game originally based around Valve Software's Half-Life. In this game players must work together against computer controlled enemies and solve puzzles as a team.

While Sven Co-op is similar to Half-Life with similar weapons, monsters, and characters, the difficulty has been increased to suit team play.

Sven Co-op's levels are set as missions and are generally separate from each other. Many missions span several maps and some are collected together in a series. The aim of most levels is to reach the end or to achieve an objective -- obtaining a high score is not essential to beat a level, it's just part of the fun.

System Requirements

Minimum:

OS: Windows® XP (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: 1 GHz single core processor
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Graphics: 64MB video card capable of using OpenGL 2.1
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 2 GB available space
Additional Notes: Some additional tools require .NET framework 3.5 or later. 3rd party content will require varying additional disk space.

OS: Windows® 7/8/10 (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: 2 GHz dual core processor
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 128MB video card with pixel shaders and great OpenGL 2.1 support
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 4 GB available space
Additional Notes: Dual-core processor will improve performance of the sound and particle modules.

A true classic, I've been playing this mod on and off since it came out long ago and it holds up really well even to this day with its dated engine and severe limitations compared to modern games.
Still one of the best Co-Op games I've ever played, I can't think of a single thing to complain about, and it 'still' has a relatively big community and gets sizable updates!

Another great example of what PC gaming can do.

Very good game, you can play the half-life 1 campaing with other people and another good amount of campaings that seems to be made by other players. this is awesome!

I liked the game a lot. There were horror aspects and it reminded me strongly of left for dead, which i believed it may have inspired. Its great map variety really made the game feel fresh every time you booted up the game. It's also not easy and is a real blast to play with friends. To be completly honest its better than most co-op games out there right now, despite its age. I will admit the graphics arnt at the level a lot of gamers will be used to, but after you get in you stop noticing it so much. Overall is great game.

Game takes me back. same weapons, but instead of singleplayer an insanely fun multiplayer, you have to play this game, it doesn't have microtransactions or anything, its just a base game. get in and play.
