The Nancy Drew Dossier is a fairly good puzzle game , it's not too hard . Some might even call it a tad too easy .
It has some nice voice acting and funny dialogues . I enjoyed playing it , I wouldn't call it a hidden object game , as you ain't got no hidden objects scenes like in the other rather typical hidden object games. It's more of an adventure puzzle game , as you drag and drop the hidden object and combine or manipulate them to get new more helpful items .
The story was okay and funny . Not very deep touching , but okay for a nice casual game . And I really liked the various mini games , like e.g. rotating chemical ingredients to match colors , or combine various torn letters tetris-style to get a full letter ..and so on .

It supports Steam Cloud and is best played with a mouse .

Recommended to all casual gamers .

This is a point and click puzzle game, its an unusual style of game. To find things on the screen you move your mouse around until it shines then click it. Sometimes there are clues on where to look for objects, but often its just randomly scroll around until your cursor shines leaving you feeling less like the super crime fighting detective Nancy Drew and more like a bumbling drunk trying to stumble onto clues. The puzzles are varied and interesting with a good story. The game isnt long at maybe a couple hours so its a nice casual game to play.

The Nancy Drew Dosier games take a slightly different twist on the usual hidden object genre, there is no list of object you need to find on the screen, simply a counter that tells you how many hidden objects there are. Its up to you to find them and then figure out which ones match to solve the puzzles on the screen. A fan with a broken power cord? Match it with the sticky tape. A piece of paper stuck the the ceiling? Match it with the fixed fan to blow it down. It's a enough of a twist that it gives the dosier games a unique feel. The voice actor who plays Nancy in Her Interactives main Nancy Drew series is back for the dosier games and gives a good performance, in fact all the voice acting is good as is the music and general presentation. The plots are suprisingly good for this kind of game too and I found myself quite caught up as the mystery deepened. Reccomended for fans of Hidden Object games or the main Nancy Drew series who are looking for something a little different

This is the funniest game ever! You'll experience great character voiceover, funny/sarcastically well written dialogues and my personal favourite: the background music. It gives the impression of a comedy stage. Enjoyable, as always:)

A fairly good outing of this succesful puzzler title. Storyline is stronger than many and the puzzles and tasks reasonably varied. Voice acting and music are ok too.

I like this game and unlike some of the other nancy drew games it actually works on windows 8. I find it disapointing that most of the other nancy drew games do not work on windows 8 but I am glad this one does. It is a lot of fun and relaxing.
It has a good story and I like to solve the puzzles. Some times I get stuck for a bit but then I figure it out and feel happy that I did.

While a definite step down from the previous Dossier title (Lights, Camera, Curses!), this is still a solid point-&-click mystery game. Just be patient with the garden maze sections; they're extremely annoying.

This Nancy Drew game was not like the other games. It was as if they decided to create it for 8 year old girls only. It has almost a constant tutorial and "sparkle" sound effects. The game did not have the same interactive features as the previous games had. If not comparing it to the other Nancy Drew games, the game is boring in itself.

Quick and easy detective game. I enjoy the light hearted nature of the cases. Good fun to pass the time, when you're not looking to play any indepth or serious games. No Sherlock Holmes, but good all the same.

This was a lot of fun! I think I may have actually enjoyed it more than some of the standalone Nancy Drew games...though I'd say it's slightly less of a hidden object game and more of a puzzle game? Some of them could be a bit frustrating but most were really enjoyable! I never want to see another Pomeranian as long as I live, though. >.<

Although though I found this game to be quite easy, it is fun and follows the nancy drew style. I reccomened the "Dossier" games for young children, and those who have never been exposed to Nancy Drew, because it gives you a taste without being thrown into the stew pot.

It's very different from the other Nancy Drew games like the Haunting of Castle Malloy. It is fun and it can be a bit challenging. Of course trying to chase a dog around can be a bit annoying, but well what can ya do.

For a game so old, and having played almost all of the new ones, i'd still recommend this one. It's surprisingly entertaining! And it works on Win8 & 10.

I really liked this game, although I found it a little too easy. I loved how there are so many different endings.

If you don't want a game with really easy puzzles, I'd recomend Secret of the Old Clock, which has not too easy but not too hard puzzles.

All in all, this was a fun game.

One of my least-favorite Nancy Drew titles, and yet I still had fun with it. I'm not huge on the "Dossier" series in general, but hopefully it improves with time. If it's on sale, it's worth picking up.
