This game has potential but it may not go far. I liked this game, the idea of taming pets and mounts appeals to me and the amount of choices is amazing. The character creation was somewhat indepth, it could have gone further in details and options, especially for the males but it was good enough to create a Jon Snow lookalike.

But The reason behind my downvote and why I will not recommend this game to anyone is the company that runs it bans innocent players before determining their innocence or guilt and expects said players to send in a ticket to get unbanned. When you send in a ticket, their GMS tell you (If you are innocent) that they see your account did nothing wrong to deserve the ban, you had no previous bans on record so you get unbanned.

This company will BAN YOU FIRST before they know if you have done anything wrong to warrant being banned.
How do I know? Because I was an innocent player who got banned. Due to the dcs that occur in this game, I was afk trying to stay on for 60 mins for my special daily and my regular daily. I would come back, be dced, relog and watch my character sit in town hoping I didnt dc and have to go afk again. This actually occured for about 2 weeks, constant dcs that made even just being afk a gamble. But because I still enjoyed this game, I stuck to it. One day, after the dcs had ended, the game started dcing me again and the process of staying in town began once more. The last time I dced, I tried to relog only to be informed that I was banned permanently. Now, I had heard people getting banned for no reason and thought they were flukes, stories, maybe they were cheaters who got caught until it happened to me.

I was shocked but sent in a ticket, explained what had happened and waited. My wait wasnt long, maybe 2 days compared to what I had heard from other people who waited maybe weeks for a response. I was deemed by them what I had already known...innocent. I was unbanned, told I had done nothing wrong and with no prior ban record, my ban was lifted. But that was the final nail in the coffin I would call Riders of Icarus.

I thank them for the speedy response and seeing my innocence but I am done with this game and Nexon. Between the constant dcs, the spamming goldbots they dont tether, the increasing amount of bots, this game probably wont go far but I could've continued to have some enjoyment in this game. But being unfairly banned, to have it applied to me before they even knew I if I was guilty, to have it possible I may be banned again accidently in the future ruins this game for me and I will recommend people AVOID this game. Completely.

And the first thing I did after being unbanned was log on, quit my guild and give my gold away and quit this game. Please do not play this.

This game its P2W, you just can't beat a player that spent real money (alot money, hundreds), everywhere has alot bots / cheaters, takes ALOT time to do anything, when you do you dont get anything good for you cuz its pure lucky, even to tame you will waste several hours/days to tame heroic ones and its pure lucky. Anything in this game its pure lucky.

And also crashes alot and its poorly optimized, burns my notebook.

And sure, the worst PvP Ive ever seen. Doesn't has Race x Race, Faction x Faction, Serv x Serv, neither arena (3x3, 5x5, 8x8 and etc..), or anything like that like WoW, GW2, RYL and etc...
Its simply big guilds hunting random ppl, and if you don't have a good guild will be 50 cowards vs you alone. And the biggest guild monopolizes everything in this game.

Game turned from fun casual friendly experience into full blown korean MMO grind and P2W fest

Korean game being korean game, like always, P2W, Pure Grind, Bugs and full of botters/cheaters.
If I knew was a korean companny I havent started to play it.

And Im sure this game will happens just like Aion, alot players and wype at first, but in 3~5 months everyone will stop to play because the game turned to pure grind / pay to win system.

Esse jogo é puro P2W, você não consegue derrotar um jogador que gastou dinheiro real, em todo lugar têm bot / cheaters, consome muito tempo para fazer qualquer coisa e quando faz não consegue nada bom, mesmo para capturar criaturas demora muito tempo (até dias), é pura sorte em tudo nesse jogo.

E é muito mal otimizado, esquenta muito o meu notebook.

E claro, é o pior PvP que eu vi, muito escroto. Não tem raça x raça, facção x facção, serv x serv, arena 2x2, 3x3, 8x8 e etc... Como WoW, GW2 e talz.. É PvP random, simplesmente uma guild grande caçando pessoas aleatórias, e se você não tiver uma guild grande / boa vai ser sempre 50x1 pra cima de você.

O jogo se transformou de um jogo casual divertido com experência amigável para um puro festival de P2W e grind korean MMO.

Jogo koreano sendo jogo koreano, como sempre, P2W, Bugs, Pure Grind e lotado de hackers / cheaters.
Se eu soubesse que fosse uma empresa coreana, eu não teria começado a jogar isso.

E eu tenho certeza, que esse jogo vai ser igual ao Aion, com muito wype e jogadores jogando, mas, em 3~5 meses todo mundo vai parar de jogar.

After hitting 1k hour mark. I have to say ive been dissapointeed, not just by ROI, but by the entire early access community. Simply a Pay to Win mmo rpg. Simply not responding to the communities complaints, desires, etc. Simply losing over 70% of the player population due to unresponsive developers.

Not to mention this game is already released in Korea. Legit just change the language and re-release the same content.

Don't kid yourself playing Nexon's version, its been a complete joke.

Been waiting for a level cap increase for 2 months...

Pvp is trash.

Community of 17 > X, kids that basically perfer smite/lol over dota... should tell you what you need to know...

This game is kind of a mixed bag. Personally I've enjoyed it a lot more since I joined a guild with people I could play with regularly. As a solo player I was mostly logging in just to keep up with the daily rewards. Overall it's a fun mmo with a lot of potential but also some poorly executed mechanics.

Pros:
Lots of cool familiars to tame
An interesting story setting
Lots of quests
Varied dungeons and bosses

Cons:
Still in Beta
Often laggy or glitchy
Sponatneous disconnections
Lots of grinding for gear
Excessive dependence on RNG
Community full of bots and "serious gamers"
Broken pvp region
Most recent updates are for the cash shop instead of story content

Will keep playing and would love to see the community grow, but you will have to let some things slide if you want to enjoy this game.

I got to play in the closed beta and it was okay. My main problem was the lack of system settings. There is no way to remove the motion blur, which for someone who has bad eyesight like myself, can make it very difficult to play a game. It also caused the game to lag on my computer.
The mount system was interesting, however it could have been better. If the game played like they show in the trailer (which is VERY misleading) it actually would have been pretty awesome.
They have a alright concept on their hands, however the game doesn't feel very rewarding for the short time I was able to play it. Again, I wasn't able to play as long as I liked do to the motion blur and the inability to turn it off.
I even went as far as to contact customer service on the issue, they quickly replied with that there was no way to do so.
In all, it is free, so it is at least worth trying. I just won't be surprised if you delete the game about an hour or two later after playing.

The game itself is entertaining. Every characters play different. Being able to tame lots of pets is pretty great. The mounted combat is decent.

That being said. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Hope nothing EVER goes wrong that requires a ticket. It takes days, and unless you can provide 'video' evidence, they tell you there's nothing they can do to help you, and you're screwed. This has happened multiple times to me now, and I'm just done. This company deserves to go down in a ball of flames....

I really like this game. But I ended up getting banned from it for 82 years!?! What? Why? How... uh... not sure how that happened. I did read some forums that said this is a glitch of sorts, but talking to live support only had them open a ticket for me. They couldn't tell me why I was banned. The ticket has been open now for two days with no updates.

This kinda sucks because I had just maxed out one of my toons and gotten some heroic mounts right before I got banned! All that hard work and invested time for nothing!

So would I recommend this game? At first I would have. It IS fun to play. Taming mounts and pets is a blast and pretty rewarding. The aireal combat is cool too. But if you are going to just end up getting banned for 82 years after doing so... it's not really worth it. After I die and am unbanned... maybe I'll change my mind. -_-

The game is fun, the customization is beyond what I expected but I havent really even got to the point where I can write a review... That leads me to this review actually is the fact I can't even play the game. 13.8 hours is the least amount of time I spent on a game I actually like and its all due to one fact. The game crashes. I made it to level 18 and was about to defeat a Count(Vampire) in Carleon manor but as soon as I entered the dungeon, the game crashed and does so whenever I try to play. It did this before in Lavalight cave, the only main mission dungeon before this one. But it fixed itself after a few tries. I can log in, I can select my world, I can even select my character but when it tries to load the world... It crashes every time. This game would be so enjoyable but first they need to fix how big it is. I understand the concept of flying mounts can put stress on how large the worlds actually have to be but just from loading a dungeon makes the game unplayable? I found this completely rediculous. I will still try to play on but not as often as I would if it actually worked. I am hoping this crash will fix itself like the last one but it makes me dread the next time, if there is a next time, I wander in to a main quest dungeon.

Don't be fooled by my hours on record. I have about 30 hours invested into this game through the Nexon Launcher
Overall, this game is somewhat mediocre.

I had hyped this game for a while, because the idea of literally just jumping on a random dragon's back and riding it around for the hell of it seemed so badass. Needless to say, I was wrong. The combat, while somewhat impactful feels clunky, and unfinished. The game is obivously designed around tab-targeting, which by itself wouldnt be bad, but they also decided to integrate action-combat as well. Now don't get me wrong, there are plenty of games that have done this right, and have succeeded as a result. This game is not among them. Playing as an assassin felt so slow-paced and awkward to control. As a side-note, the "action combat" really isn't action combat at all. You're given a reticle that you would assume you're supposed to aim your attacks with, but no. Instead all you have to do is click on an enemy, and boom, you're locked on and can now sit back and enjoy pressing the 1-9 keys in specific orders to execute a combo.
To be fair though, what this game does get right, it tends to do fairly well. There's no transition between instanced, and multiplayer zones, enhancing your immersion, but this really isn't anything revolutionary. Instead, the game's two crowning acheivements are its looks, and its taming system (which, to be fair is its main selling point). Graphically there isn't much to talk about. The game looks pretty, and it's nice to look at. The taming system on the other hand has a lot to talk about. After initially using the skill to tame a mount, you have to undergo a series of super easy QTE's and then bam, you have a pet dragon, horse, wolf, spider,parrot-thing, pegasus, unicorn, etc to call your own. It may seem odd to list so many different animals, but that's simply to show how much variety there is in the many, many monsters that you can tame in this game. This is arguably the most interesting part of the game, as essentially any dragon, horse, wolf, spider, parrot-thing, pegasus, unicorn, etc that you see, you can tame. This creates a ton of variety in the different pets that you see players riding in the game (if you happen to run into another player, which I should warn you, is rather rare).
Overall, if you're looking for the next big f2p MMO, this isn't it, I promise you. Other MMOs that I would recommend investing hours into before this are Wildstar, and Tree of Savior, both of which I have reviewed.

I deffinitely recomend to try this game, amazing graphics, great fighting system, the taming system is great so far, just finished the first area and one of the rare games im going to continue playing, it is slow leveling but rewarding and not grindy or anything 10/10 so far :)

I play this game very casually, hell I play every game casually. From what I have seen during the tutorial phase of the game, I like it. The aesthetics of the game are pleasant! The game play is smooth for a MMORPG. Playing a healer, or assasin is easy early game and very fun. Taming mounts can fail, which is frustrating but not game breaking. The game works! It has its faults, bots and goldspammers. But most MMORPGS have those. If you want a game to play around with and not spend a dime, I would recommend this!... If you want something to latch onto for hours, days, weeks on end... I would go get a job instead of a game.

After installing via nexon and steam, I along with many many other players just can't get into the game. I can't even get into character creation/seleciton. There hasn't been any resolution to this. I've searched for hours, uninstalled anti-virus, changed firewall settings, etc... and still nothing and no word from devs either. 10/10 would play if I ever got the chance.

I played 5 hours and didn't encounter any F2W mechanics.
It has great graphics, a huge amount of possible mounts, fighting is solid but nothing special.
Character creation is standard, like TERA or Blade and Soul.
Give it a try, as it is Free to Play.

I recommend to try it and see if its a game for you or not.
