About This Game

What time is it? It’s time to crack a case!

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is an all-new, story-driven graphic adventure game. Strange stuff is happening in the Land of Ooo (stranger than usual anyway). Luckily, Finn and Jake are on the case. This mysterious adventure will put their detective skills to the test as they search for clues, interrogate witnesses and piece together the evidence to save the day. They might even have to bust up a few goons along the way, but it’s nothing that Finn and Jake Investigations can’t handle!

Game Features:
• Sleuth your way through five cases set in the Land of Ooo, each of which plays out a separate chapter (like your own personal episode of the show).
• See the Adventure Time characters and familiar locations for the first time in 3D.
• Tackle puzzles by creatively using inventory objects and Jake’s shape-shifting abilities.
• Combat evildoers as Finn using a variety of unique swords and Jake’s awesome attack forms.

If you like Adventure Time TV show you will enjoy this .
Plays out like an episode. You meet almost every character, voicing sounds great .
Game has on old school game . Maybe ps3 controls it feels like . But its works still .
Graphics are average, controls can get a bit dicky at times but nothings a deal breaker.
Worlth playing.

Pros:
- Clocked the main campaign at 9 hours (5 Episodes) and the DLC chapter at 1 hour and 45 minutes. Totaling 10 hours and 45 minutes.
- Had fun interacting with the characters of the show.
- Overall liked the visuals of the game (But it has its issues).
- Lots of puzzles (If you're into that sort of thing).
- Stellar voice acting by the main cast.
- Funny and witty dialogue for the most part.
- Chance to explore a bunch of different locations from the show and interact with its inhabitants.
- An abundance of in jokes, references and easter eggs that fans of the show will appreciate.
- Cool to see a fanmade character appear (Sunny).
- Lots of interactables.

Cons:
- Game can get really slow at times to the point of it getting boring (Especially Chapter 3).
- Some characters aren't voiced by their original voice actors.
- Visuals sometimes look like someone tried to mix multiple different artstyles (Cartoony, photorealism) but it doesn't mesh well.
- LSP is incredibly annoying in this and is far more antagonistic than she is on the show.
- You'll end up visiting certain locations multiple times which gets stale at times. The Marceline DLC fixes this issue though.
- Some jokes and dialogue is very hit or miss.
- No replayability.
- Combat isn't very good and just ruins the pacing.
- Sometimes character dialogue is skipped at the last second.
- Dialogue should have been made skippable as checkpoints can be sparse at times.

Overall:
- This is something only fans of the show can enjoy, so if you're not a fan do not even think about getting it.
- I enjoyed the game. It was fun playing as and interacting with characters from the show. It was also cool to visit locations and get the chance to walk around and explore the areas. The amount of hours I got out of the game is worth the price. But if you want to play it safe, get it if it ever goes on sale.

The game is on the same time line as the show, very funny, enjoyable and the fighting system is awesome. I know marci dlc is out but lets hope it gets more dlc. If you enjoy Adventure Time and can't decide what AT to go for, I have played most of them, yes they are all funny, making you laugh I would have to say this one has to be the best so far.

Pros:

1) Heart-warming story, good writing overall.

2) Allows you to explore around the well known kingdoms of Ooo, and of course Finn and Jake's house.

3) Pretty much a well written five shorts grables episode, that take a long long time to watch

4) The game is easy to run (on PC)

5) Not very difficult, requires some lateral thinking at times but overall its a good family game.

Cons:

1) Can't skip the dialogue

2) Combat systems gets really repetitive real fast

3) Very limited camera angels

4) Buggy at places, graphics are meh (Finn's face looks really weird)

5) Not much open world exploration, the game pretty much tells you what to do.

If you haven't watched Adventure Time and played the game, its a pretty ♥♥♥♥ game. However if you watched Adventure Time and you love the show, then its a pretty good game, and I think $20 is an okay price.

Overall I give it 7/10.

It's a good game. If you enjoy Adventure time and can put up with the lack of polish here and there you'll enjoy it. The whole time I played it I wished they implemented skipable dialogue like modern games. Also its pace is just a bit too slow. Still enjoyable, it's just frustrating because of it.

Can recommend the game only under the following conditions.

* You are a smaller child which wants to play a funny adventure game.
* You are an extremly slow reader, so you need ample time anyway to read the dialogs.
* You are EXTREMLY patient and don't have a problem watching a movie or doing something else while playing the game.

The game is painfully slow. It filles like it runs in slow motion, even on my high-end gaming machine. The voices are speaking in normal speed, but then when the sentence is over, the animaiton keeps on running and you spend about 20 sec after each sentence to wait until you can do the next sentence or continue playing.

If you buy this game for a kid, it's definitely ok, but for anybody else I can't really recommend it, despite the funny graphics and atmosphere.

The main reason why I can not recommend it is that it has sever bugs. After wading through the first case, the dialog got stuck and I had to ALT-F4 quit the game because it didn't respond anymore. The animations and sound were still running, but the dialog didn't quit and so I couldn't do anything.

30 FPS lock, crashes if you try to run at a haigher resolution than 1920x1080. Fighting is very tacked on and stale. Just don't bother, even if you're a super-fan.
