About This Game

Super Hexagon is a minimal action game by Terry Cavanagh, with music by Chipzel.

Important facts about Hexagons:

Hexagons are first order permutohedrons: The vertices of a hexagon can be formed by permuting the coordinates of the vector (1, 2, 3).
The north pole of the planet Saturn has a hexagonal storm cloud pattern with 8,600 mile long sides, larger than the diameter of Earth.
Though hexagon may appear to be a difficult word to rhyme, there are actually dozens of words that rhyme with it. For example: Autobahn, decagon, decathlon, electron, Kyrgzstan, Lebanon, leprechaun and marathon.

Super Hexagon is an indie video game developed by Terry Cavanagh and released on November 27th, 2012, for PC.

It's a simple twitch game in which player is given control of a small triangle, which circles around a figure (hexagon, pentagon or square), and needs to avoid the incoming obstacles in order to survive.

Pros:
• Simple, yet challenging gameplay;
• High replay value;
• Highly addictive;
• Wonderful, memorable soundtrack;
• Global and friends-only leaderboards;
• Unforgettable emotions after completing the Hyper Hexagonest stage;
• Low price;

Cons:
• Only 6 different levels;
• No widescreen support;

In fact, this game is an excellent example of how a good indie game should look like. The idea is not only very original, but is also perfectly brought to life, and the soundtrack fits the game splendidly. All in all, Super Hexagon is totally worth the money, and the emotions upon completion are totally worth the effort.

Overall rating: 9/10.

Addictive. Rage inducing. Beat your record and try to be better than your friends and then realize you have wasted hours of your life trying to avoid walls closing in on the little triangle. 6/6 hexagons!

Soundtrack is among the very best on steam, but "Game Over" will be most of what you get to hear until you git gud.

Definitely a challlenge. took me 20 hours to fully complete the game :D

20 hours dosent seem like much but it feels an eternity when you hear "GAME OVER" 200 billion times

+95% skill based
+brain does all the work after it learns all the paterns
+anyone with the patience can complete the game!
+hypnotic and gets you in 'the zone'
+very rewarding when you complete levels

-get mad when distracted from the zone >.<
-5% luck (literally impossible combinations on the last two levels sometimes)

Epilepsy Simulator 2016

Super Hexagon, it's a simple game, which is good; because anyone can play/learn to play it. Overall, it's incredible, the soundtrack the gameplay, everything. Super Hexagon will always provide a challenge, to any user. I've owned the game for ages, and I'm still only up to 12 seconds on Hexagonest. However, I don't recommend to anyone who suffers from epilepsy, as, well, it is Epilepsy Simulator 2016. Apart from that, there really is no downside to the game, it provides hours of gameplay, and hours of raging along with it. If you like fast-paced games and you're looking for a challenge, Super Hexagon is for you.

So my friend gifted me this game. The reason why is because he told be that there are alot of people who played this game and when they played cs go they had like 27 kills. I am silver ll so I thought...mabey i might become better! My friend gifted me it. I still became better but this game is fun! Its really fun! I really do enjoy this game .

PS Wish me luck for getting out of silver...I need it. :P
