What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe in the power of playtesting and the value of feedback. Are you passionate about this kind of game? We want to hear from you! Your suggestions and constructive criticism will help us shape its destiny.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the game will be in early access anywhere from 12 to 24 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core game is built on three essential components: exploration, adventure, and creation. On that foundation, we'll be adding a variety of new features, systems, and content over the course of Early Access. We're excited to share these with you!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable with a decent amount of content, though it's certainly not bug-free. If you're experiencing an issue, let us know and we'll fix it. You can read more about our upcoming plans for the game in our FAQ.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During the first 15 months of Creativerse’s life, we charged $20 for the game. This allowed us to restrict its audience at a time when we weren’t quite ready for an influx of players. However, we always planned to make the game free as it’s our belief that this will allow us to reach the widest audience possible. Continued development is now being supported by microtransactions. We are making every effort to ensure that in-game purchases are not tied to the core loop of the game -- we want players to enjoy the game without being restricted by any pay-to-win or pay-to-play mechanics.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're hoping to get as much feedback as possible. Please let us know if you have any suggestions, whether it's a cool feature you’d like to see added or a change to something currently in the game. We've already added many features and changes based on player feedback and have no plans to stop.

Really? Ok, seriously?! To create a world I have to upgrade to Pro which costs the same as Battleright, or Minecraft, $20... I might as well buy one of those who the ♥♥♥♥ would buy this ♥♥♥♥ with those options?! I've got to admit, it was good before the Pro update, because it was a fun alternative from MC to play with my friends, but now... Now it's a waste! I could ♥♥♥♥ing get Smash + Grab! Nobody get this game! It's a waste. They might as well make it $20 on the actual page and not as a DLC.

I am not going to lie I loved this game. Note I said loved. The devs decided to take the game down the path from f2p to pay to win. At first I understood you could buy currency in game to use that to buy certain things or to speed it up. I was perfectly okay with that. But the devs decided to make it so you have pay to buy more than 1 world and to do basically anything now. It was a good run Creativerse I had fun playing you with my friends but I guess good things can not last forever.

When it says, "Free to Play", thats their way of saying, "Yes, you can play the watered down version that is not enjoyable, but at least you can have ONE world at a time, with no way of changing it. But you can spend $20 to have the Premium (AKA the game)"

This game went from a glorious sandbox builder to a 'Pay to Play' in one update. The update that added Premium, a DLC which entited the owner to new items, new world options, and a exclusive block set. The catch? Well, lets just say you will wish you had the game sooner. The update removed ALL the world customizing options from non-premium owners. If you had a world that had implemented customizers, you were good. If not, you could only have 1 world at a time, with no way to have peaceful monsters, hard mode, reduced spawns, and more. (With the last update, 9/14 I believe, it removed all of my previous cusomizers) But if you have $20 laying around for no reason, this game is for you!

Pros:
-LOTS of different furniture pieces and decorative blocks
-Varied monsters and creatures
-Vast worlds with many biomes
-Many types of ores and nature blocks
-Free (to an extent)
Cons:
-Not really free per say
-Not much for non-premium owners
-Difficult to collect building recipes
-Cusomization is a little weak

Overall:
This is an ok game for an Early Access. Lacking of certain aspects that could very much improve gameplay, this game has it where it counts. There is a lot you can do when it comes to building and exploring. But, Premium 'punishes' players that did not buy the beta, dramatically removing features for non-premium owners. Overall, this is a good game, far superior to games like Minecraft. But if you dont have any spare change, this game is not all it is shown to be.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
(Listed as a negative review only because of the premium... and the glitch that has me mad at this point)

Have a nice day :D

So far so good and because they have a one time fee and it is actually reasonable as soon as I have the extra funds I will be paying for it. The absolute free range and versatility of this game makes it super unique. The open platform of the housing aspect was everything my wife was looking for in every game she has played with housing, from wizard 101 - lotro.
Only has one minor lag glitch that only happens once in a while, other than that it runs smooth.
Possibilities are so endless with this game.

might be a decent game if the devs could figure out how to stop you from losing your pro status once purchased. totally bs when you pay for something and three days later its gone yet steam still says you have pro access maybe the devs could ask steam to fix thier screwed up game im out dont waste your money just move along to something else dont pay these guys for a broken mess

Honestly this was a really good game, it's kind of like a free Minecraft with buggy monsters. But unfortunately the game devs decided to rip 90% of the game out and post it so you have to pay money to get the game's contents, if they're going to make a FREE game full of horrible glitches that make monsters teleport into your well lit with doors house, by walking through the door while it's closed and force you to pay them 20$ for only the stuff they removed from the game to force you to play it, that's stupid. It sucks, because I worked a long time to build my castle, only to not be able to use it.

Just get Minecraft.

i like the game because its awesome and challenging but when i died once i cant press F or interact because i dont know why and i was thinking it will work by exiting the game but when i entered my world again everything changed. my house that is big and now become small and when i was trying to sap some block and it says that you need to have a permission to the player... really ? permission in MY own world ? i own the world and i need permission to sap blocks, is that even a thing in your own worlds ?. but when i exited the map and reset the world and when its done all the sudden when i was trying to re-entering the world it says you cant, it might be errored or i dont know but thats the problem of this game it has alot of bull****s in it. so pls to the people that makes this game FIX THIS BLOODY PROBLEM !
