A well made first person hack-and-cast that will make you play through it again and again just to find out how many ways you can kill "that one goblin" with the enviroment. Eviroment kills, Ragdolls, Magic, Secret treasure, and the most usefull tool in any game; the Rope Bow. This game will keep it form getting dull even after years with its fast pace combat, magic, and stealth to get you through the interactive story line.

This game without a doubt has the best sword fighting in a game I have ever seen. There is a weight to the combat, and the enemies react in a believable way to getting hit and kicked. Arkane Studios is now known for Dishonored, but this game is completely incredible and should not be missed. It also has better sword combat than Dishonored. Kicking enemies off cliffs and into spikes does not get old. You will laugh endlessly when enemies fall through floors when you break them or set up other traps.

The magic system works well too, and you don't have to be completely locked into just magic or just a melee character. An example of a spell, you can cast an ice spell to make enemies slip off cliffs or freeze them. The game also has stealth options that work pretty well. But again the real show is how well the sword system works. It just never gets old.

I started playing this game in 2006, and have never stopped. I still can't believe how good it is. The storyline is good, and even if you haven't played the mainline Might and Magic games like me, you won't have trouble following the story. I can't find fault with any of the levels, they are fun to explore and by now, most of the bugs have been worked out. A non-issue with the game, is you will desperately want a sequel.

I love this game, the controls may be a little clunky in parts but for the most part it has very fluid gameplay. It also has branching storylines and multiple endings. One of the 3 games I like to play through multiple times, the other of which being Dishnoured and Skyrim. It's just so fun kicking orks off cliffs and into spikes. 9 out of 10.

You can kick things into spike doors. The physics are top notch. You can use frost magic to make enemies slip. Probably the best M&M spinoff besides HoMM3.

A true nostalgic game, I love it. I remembered when I played the demo 100 times when I was around 12 - 13 years old with the lowest grapics.
Right in the feels.

Fun game, even if it's from 2006 it's still good, I mean look at Oblivion it was released in 2006 but you can still have fun playing it.

Note: I'm not saying this game is similar to Oblivion, it just held up as well as Oblivion.

Jesus Polevaulting Christ, this game is bad.

I was looking forward to the lauded kick mechanic of this game, but after a short while it just became super repetitive and boring. Combat is janky as £vck - slashing someone feels like balancing a teapot on a pencil, making your character feel like a god damn mongolo|d. Hit detection is all over the place, reminiscent of that horrible Dead Island game. And for the sneaking, how about a toggle crouch button, developers? Getting finger cramps here.

Oh yeah, as a final £vck you, when I quit the game normally, the screen froze and took priority over everything else on my computer. Even ctrl-alt-del'ing out of it was impossible, forcing me to restart my computer. Now THAT's something I haven't experienced from a game for quite some time, if ever.

Good riddance, you piece of sh|t travesty pile of dirty pixels. Taking money for this game is a crime and recommending this game makes you an accomplice.

I'm just re-installing this little gem as I write this, VERY fun game.

This game is like a Pizza. The plot is cheesy and the gameplay is meaty. Do you like pizza? Then you should buy this game.

Frankly one of the most unintentionally funny games I've played.

This game is beyond frustrating. Has some cool ideas like stealth and magic but they're executed poorly.
It Crashes about once or twice every chapter.
The voice acting is pretty awful, and I didn't find the story particularly satisfying...
Swordplay is ok but sort of buggy at times.

Still holds up. I'm surprised they accomplished so much with the early source engine and had a combat system that I think rivals that of much later games like Chivalry. Surprising amount of different endings. Well worth at least one playthrough.

This game is nearly ten years old and I consider it a timeless classic. I played it when it first came out and still play it once a year or so. The things you can do in this game are incredible to say the least. From using the enviroment to kill the bad guys to trying out different ways to get from point a to point b. If you've never played this game, play it.

I only wish there were more mods for it to increase replayablity.

P.S. Even the demo is worth playing a few times.

This is really quite a hidden gem of a game. The story is tired: You are the chosen one crap, a world that doesn't have much depth unless you already know the lore of the world of might and magic, and standard fantasy fare as opponents- orcs, spiders, dragons, goblins, etc. But where this game REALLY shines is the combat.

Every single fight is intense, quick paced, and fresh with every battle. There's a reason this game is known as stompy mcheavyboot's adventure in the land of spikes: kicking opponents into environmental hazards is usually an efficient way to kill almost anything. But there's so many options for combat: kick your opponents into each other, sneak up and cut ropes to activate traps, launch your opponents into huge ravines with well placed fireballs. The combat is so damn satisfying and the exploration is so gratifying that you're glued to the game.

I picked it up on a sale, and this is more than worth your money.

Story wise? game is really underwhelming.
but in where it lacks it also excels

The sound design and combat system for this game is really amazing
and considering how short this game is helps it be a really fun game to start and finish over on weekends.

Sounds go indepth as much as to really imerse you in the game and this game takes combat to another level.

requires you to use just a little bit of thought to get around obstacles and defeat enemies that might be waaay above your skill level.

This game uses the environment around you to help make a play pen worth playing in.
Kick down platforms while hiding to bring enemies to a halt.
Magic is really simplistic but goes a long way.

overall 8/10 would probably play again if i have the time.
