Why Early Access?

“ShellShock Live has been community driven from the beginning. Early Access gives us the opportunity to build the game while receiving feedback from players to ensure that SSL grows to fulfill its potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access until all bugs are squashed and all planned features have been implemented and tested. We estimate an early 2017 release, but because ShellShock Live will grow and evolve throughout development, we can't be sure of the exact timing.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will evolve into the Full Version with consistent updates containing new features and fixes. Even after release, we will continue to update the game regularly with fresh content and features based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“ShellShock Live is already a fully functional game jam-packed with content. There are currently over 200 weapons, 100 maps, and 80 single-player missions. There are probably a few stubborn bugs here and there but we'll iron those out as Early Access progresses. There are also several planned features that we haven't had a chance to build yet.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will likely stay the same upon release, but may change slightly if significant new features and content give more value than we had expected. We're dedicated to keeping the price low and the game accessible to everyone.”

About This Game

ShellShock Live is a strategic online multiplayer artillery game currently in active development by kChamp Games.

Fight Alongside your Friends (Or blow them up... we won't judge!)

Take part in action-packed 8-Player team and free-for all battles. Tactical gameplay is essential to victory, while numerous distinct tanks, weapons, items, maps, and play styles make every match unique.

Way Too Many Weapons

It's a bit ridiculous. Unlock, upgrade, and master over 200 unique power-packed weapons, from the intimidating 'Seagull' to the ever-powerful 'Mega-Nuke'. The best part is that we're building and adding more daily.

Loads of Modes

Armored carnage must get old after a while, right? Wrong. Unique game modes keep things fresh and give you the opportunity to demolish tanks in a multitude of ways.

Become the Best There Ever Was

Earn XP to level up and become king of the battlefield. Play through 100 unique ranks, each with their own rewards and unlocks. Global leaderboards and rankings keep things spicy.

Upgrade Everything

And when we say everything, we mean everything. Upgrade your tank. Upgrade your skills. Upgrade your items. Upgrade your arsenal. All 200+ of the game's weapons can be upgraded to more powerful versions.

Nature Doesn't Stand a Chance

Fully destructible terrain creates a dynamically changing battlefield. Earthquakes and other natural disasters keep you on your toes (just like in real life!)

I remember i played such tank pvp games long time ago in early 90s. Retro is cool nowadays so this game is cool too:-)

but, for real, there are a huge variation of weapons + leveling up allows you to spend talent points and so customize your tank.

The game offers variety of pvp games such as assasination, point game, deathmatch and a juggernaut game where one player plays against everyone else.

If you get bored about pvp then you can try one of the 80-90 single player mission aswell, some of them very challenging.

Be warned, this game is addictive:-)

now that i have 500+ hours on this game i can make an honest review. get it, its cheap, its good, and its fun. this game is really repetitive but for some reason not boring. kchamp please play me so i can get the achievement

Definately worth the price. The multiplayer is solid and fun with lots of customization options. The single player challenges are a little bit boring but can teach you some of the basics to the game before you jump into multiplayer. I lost track of time playing this game.

Want a game that will ruin your social life because of how addictive it is and also make you want to bash your keyboard to nothing when you get mega nuked? Get this game
500+ hours played and still loving it

I definitely recommend this game, one of my favourite casual games to play. This game is certainly similar to a game I used to play when I was younger which I thoroughly enjoyed, except in this there's so much more content and the game is made so well.

If you like the concept behind this game, i'd definitely recommend you to purchase it. 9/10.

If you enjoyed this game multiple years ago when it was on Kongregate and armor games you will probably still love it now. If you enjoy pocket tanks or the original tanks game for pc then this is a great choice. With a multiude of weapons to play from, different maps to combat yourself on, a campaign mode, tank customization and map themes; then you will just enjoy this game.

I have been playing since September, 18th, 2016 and put in well over 24 hours in my first 4 days. Sometimes it will feel unfair and be very frusterating. There are some players that do "hack" but, they are not a threat if you are a skilled player. You might be playing in a tournament and be in the finals when it comes down to your last shot before you win, shoot a mega nuke after your opponent teleported and miss by one pixel causing a miraculous fist to go threw the monitor... (Only happens every other game). But, you still find enjoyment.

Pros:
- Shellshock Live is updated on a reguluar basis
- Many players
- Not pay to win
- many features
- Earn upgrades for your weapons
- Upgrade your tank
- compete with friends
- Has a skill rating system

Cons:
- Playing against somebody to much higher than you will feel unfair
- Some players use protractors

It's an addicting game. Exciting to rank up, upgrade your tank, and even unlock a new weapon. I have to say, it's cool and fair how every 7 days, you can reset your skill points to your inventory and use it for another side of trait you want for the tank.
