About This Game

The townsfolk tell you that a woman named Julia has gone missing. You venture out into the cave just beyond the village looking for her. You're given a knife to protect yourself. What you find there may surprise you.

Moirai is an experimental, first person game created by Chris Johnson, Brad Barrett and John Oestmann.

This game has surprises for you.
If you find out what they are, you won't be surprised.
So stop trying to ruin it for yourself and go play it already.

And No, there are no jump scares.
Because jump scares are stupid, and Pewdiepie sucks.

Don't let the bad graphics deceive you.
The first time playing, this game really made me think.
And once you know how it works, it can be really fun to play again, too!
Plus it's FREE!!
Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Played this game expecting the worst kind of pixelated gore and jumpscares.

Nice experiment. You should try it without knowing what to expect because is really curious. Also, it´s free and really short, around 5-10 minutes to complete.

I have no idea why I like this game so much, other than it's fun. Lots of fun.

Graphically simple, artistically simple, story line simple. Just a little twist at the end and in five minutes you are done. Heck, even the occasional "someone ruins it for you* person adds to the fun because it's all about the lucky dip.

I would recommend just sitting down, putting it on, then going for it. Once you run through it once, or better twice, then hit the discussions and mingle with other player's thoughts.

There's really only one problem with the game, but it's a problem with the main focus of the game in the first place. It's also easily fixable by the community.

The problem with this game is that it focuses on letting other players answer questions, which are then sent to the next player to see them. However, it kills any sort of purpose or feeling you get when someone puts "♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ im being set up" or "i circumcized myself", instead of actually providing a legitimate answer to the next player. Sadly, the majority of what people put in seems to be this. Occasionally I'll pick the game up and put in a legitimate answer, hopefully to make the next players experience better.

Basically, it kills any sort of story immersion (which isn't a whole lot, seing as the game is short) when people put joke responses. Don't do it, and it'll make the game much better.
