Overview

This book constitutes the joint refereed proceedings of four workshops held in conjunction with the 8th International Conference on Object-Oriented Information Systems, OOIS 2002, in Montpellier, France in September 2002.
The 30 revised full papers presented together with four workshop summaries were carefully reviewed and selected. In accordance with the workshop topics, the papers are organized in topical sections on managing specialization/generalization hierarchies, reuse in object-oriented information systems design, efficient Web-based information systems, and model-driven approaches to software development.
