Instructional Use of Learning Objects

Overview

Learning objects are defined by Wiley (Utah State U.) as "any digital resource that can be reused to support learning." He presents five separately authored chapters that explore the use of learning objects in the design of computer assisted instruction programs. Among the topics explored are: the application of learning objects to constructivist learning environments, resource-based learning design, the design of inquiry-based online learning, the personalization of learning.
