Course work

Each chapter has a cycle of study.

First, you will read the chapter and do the participation activities during the reading. Then there is lecture. After lecture, you can go back and try the harder challenge activities that you may have not been able to complete during your first reading. There will be a TA discussion and review, where you will talk about the material in a small group (denoted "Team Lab" on the diagram). Lastly, There is the ZyLab assignments.

Academic Integrity

By enrolling in this course, each student assumes the responsibilities of an active participant in UW-Madison’s community of scholars in which everyone’s academic work and behavior are held to the highest academic integrity standards. Academic misconduct compromises the integrity of the university. Cheating, fabrication, plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, and helping others commit these acts are examples of academic misconduct, which can result in disciplinary action. This includes but is not limited to failure on the assignment/course, disciplinary probation, or suspension. Substantial or repeated cases of misconduct will be forwarded to the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards for additional review. For more information, refer to conduct.students.wisc.edu/academic-integrity/.

In CS 200 we recognize interactions with others can assist with the mastery of the material. However, there is a difference between learning from others and submitting their work as yours. On some coursework, you may and are expected to collaborate, while other coursework must be your own.
