Hello! My name is Myles Carpenter and I currently study at UW-Madison. This summer, I am offering beginner guitar lessons. I have a passion for music and spreading accessibility to music. By using my experience playing acoustic guitar I hope to contribute in this way.

Experience:

Music has had it's place in my life from birth. I remember the Bob Marley songs and the mixes my Mom would burn for us. She is bomb at piano and my parents made sure our home always had a piano. That's where I got started--in the family's music room. I played alto saxophone from 5th-9th grade and started learning acoustic guitar in my junior year of high school. I've made it about 5 years from that point and I still love strumming my guitar and playing sax in a University ensemble here at Madison.
