General Instructions for Software

To compile, change to the appropriate project directory and use:

• make, to make the executable(s).
• make doc to (re)build the doxygen HTML documents (if available). This will create an index at doc/html/index.html.
• make tests to make unit tests
• make clean to remove object files etc.
• make distclean to remove all built files.

For all programs, start by running:

• program --usage to see usage instructions, and
• program --help to see a list of options.

Unless stated otherwise, programs are written in C++ and tested on a Linux distribution.
