DO NOT BUY

Great Price - Great Laptop

Posted by: DaleThomas from on 05/17/2015I bought this laptop mainly because of the price. I immediately replaced the 6 gigs of ram with an extra stick I had around to 12 gigs. I hated Windows 8. I decided to put Windows 10 Technical Preview on the laptop. And WOW! First, Windows 10 is awesome! But this little laptop handles it like a champ! Fast, smooth and pure goodness.

Do not buy!

Posted by: Sheeree from on 04/19/2015This laptop is not worth the price. The computer freezes sometimes and when it first occurred, I called tech support but they could not help me. Also, the mouse acts strange. It suddenly moves slowly and moves in directions that you are directing it to. Also, there is no one-finger scrolling option, which is annoying because my last laptop allowed that. In addition to those things, there were other annoying things about it that I had to adjust when I first got it. For example, the display automatically dims when you unplug the charger. It was so difficult to figure out how change it since it wasn't available in the control panel. I had to google it and go through a ton of steps to change it.

$399CAD_WHATASTEAL!

Posted by: TorontoMiami from on 04/07/2015At $399 CAD, which was about $325-$340USD with exchange rate during Boxing week what a STEAL this was when I bought it here in Toronto!! I wouldnt pay more than $500 for this laptop though...its not worth anymore especially with AMD chip! Overall Incredible value atleast at my price point! Ofcoruse the Intel G50 models are in some ways superior to this AMD model and faster etc. This laptop has everything you need! The system is laggy and slows down at times but not a huge deal...it could very well have to do with other variables. AND Lenovo keyboards are some of the best if not the best on the market..NOW IMAGINE there high end and Thinkpad high end models how phenomenal they are! The battery could be much better though but hey you pay for what you get! Lenovo is the best if you ask me! They have the most unique exclusive specially designed software! Something tells me this model has been discontinued or is about to very soon!

Great laptop for the price

Posted by: Turk from on 12/17/2014This is a great laptop. The 1 terabyte of storage space is big enough for me to have all my media in one location. The only downside is I am not a fan of windows 8 but I'm sure I will get use to it.
