Works as designed

Unfortunately, I was unable to use it the way I wanted as the projector in my classroom was just old enough to not have either a hdmi or a usb port. I have used it to project to my hdmi TV and it works great!

Great way to stream to the TV without cords

Posted by: Jungster from on 10/02/2015I travel a lot for work and occasionally would forget to bring the cable to connect my tablet to the hotel's TV. I read about alternative ways to project to the TV and decided to give this device a shot. Set up was super simple. Plug into the USB and HDMI ports on the TV and let the unit boot up. It also comes with a 6-inch HMDI extension cable just in case you need a slightly longer reach. I'm using a Win 8.x tablet, so it found the Wireless Display Adapter under the Settings > Devices > Project charm, and bam! you're connected wireless. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. I had the tablet about 15-20 feet away from the TV and it never dropped a signal. Occasionally the video would pixelize but it cleared up pretty quick. I'm extremely pleased with this device. I can't wait to see if work with my other tablets.
