Grade Distributions

Thus far we are about half-way through the course. You have had an exam (worth about 25% of your grade) and 3 projects (also worth about 25%). Here is what the OVERALL grade distribution is for class:

From previous semesters, this is how people have done given various grades. NOTE: This is not any sort of guarantee as to how well you will do; rather, it is a guidepost to give you a vague idea of how your current overall percentage maps to a letter grade.

Above 90% received an A (100% of the time)
Above 80% (but below 90%) received an A (25%), AB (66%), B (9%)
Above 70% (but below 80%) received an A (17%), AB (52%), B (31%)
Above 60% (but below 70%) received a B (26%), BC (43%), C (30%)
Below 60% received a C (30%), D (10%), F (60%)
