Welcome to HPjmeter!

Welcome to HPjmeter version 1.1

HPjmeter is a tool to graphically present profiling data from a Java(TM) application and to assist the developer in finding performance bottlenecks. It is a platform independent tool. It works as a post-processor for the profile data file created during the application run.

For profile data collection (running your application), you'll need:

any Java 1.1 with the -prof option,
any Java 1.2 with the -Xrunhprof option compatible with the JavaSoft reference implementation JDK-1.2.1-A, or
any Java 1.3 with the -Xrunhprof option compatible with the JavaSoft reference implementation JDK-1.3.0-C.

For extended profiling (HP-UX 11.0 only) with CPU times and per-thread metrics, you'll need:

JRE for Java release 1.1.8 or greater for HP-UX 11.0,
HP-UX SDK for Java 2 platform (Classic VM, release 1.2.1 or greater, or HotSpot(TM) VM, release 1.2.2.05 or greater, or 1.3 beta2).
