1950 Chevy Pickup, Model 3100 deluxe, five window style.
Re-built 1962 Chevy engine: 235-cubic-inch (3.9 L) straight 6 cylinder
I bought this truck in South Carolina and shipped it home on a flat bed.
NOTE: bonus steering column AND new fuel tank.

- No Rust, No Dents
- Converted to 12 volt except gas gauge and heater motor
- Not running presently. But will be.
- No head liner
- Door panels intact
- Need to replace the wood bed
- Need to recover seats
NOTE: bonus steering column on truck floor.

August 16, 2014 Updates:
- Engine turns. No spark. May need new points. It was all redone when I bought it. Maybe 25 miles on rebuilt engine
- Fuel lines original
- Fuel tank original but I have a new one for under the bed mounting
- Brakes, I don't know if they work anymore, They try to pump up
- Exhaust is New

Beautiful condition, classic wood-bed pickup truck.

Unique features of the 1950 - Telescopic shock absorbers replace lever-action type. Last year for driver's side cowl vent, its handle is now flat steel, not maroon knob as in previous years. New serial number codes: HP ton, HR ton, & HS 1 ton.

HISTORY of CHEVY DELUXE TRUCKLINE -
Also called: 3100 (-ton), 3600 (-ton), 3800 (1-ton), Thriftmaster or Loadmaster
This is part of the legendary Advance Design series which was billed as a bigger, stronger, and sleeker design. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced them. On panels and canopy expresses, a new single-sheet plywood load floor replaced multiple-board construction for better dust sealing. A 216.5 cu. in. 6 cylinder engine with 92 hp and an improved Rochester B carburetor helped the Chevrolet pickup be #1 in sales.

The styling for the Advance Design trucks was the inspiration for both the Chevrolet SSR and the Chevrolet HHR.
